The “Uniform Standardization” feature locks the font and layout so every jersey in your squad order matches. Minimum legible size depends on the fabric. On smooth ringspun cotton, bold sans-serif text can be readable at 6pt (approximately 1/12 inch). Regular-weight sans-serif requires 8pt. Serif fonts require 10pt due to fine details. On ribbed fabric (collar areas or textured blends), add 2pt to all minimums. On moisture-wicking polyester, 8pt is the safe minimum for all weights. The engine flags any text below these thresholds before checkout and suggests larger sizes or heavier fonts.

The tool previews colors in our CMYK+W DTG color profile, not raw RGB screen colors. This means the preview already accounts for the color shift that occurs when digital colors move to fabric ink. Neon and fluorescent colors will show their closest printable match. For tone-on-tone designs (text slightly darker or lighter than the garment), the “Tone Match” slider suggests DTG-safe ink shades that create a subtle, tactile effect. The white ink underbase on dark garments ensures text pops without shifting.
